Improvisational theater course with UngHästen

Do you dare to challenge yourself?

Improvisational theater is theater without a script, where everything that is done and said on stage is invented in the moment, based on the audience's suggestions and ideas.

We will try out the basics of improvisational theater, which is based on stimulating your spontaneity and imagination, saying yes to your own and others' ideas and being open and responsive. We will practice daring to fail and we will have great fun!

We also look at different so-called techniques and storytelling, what is needed to create a story together with others. No theater or stage experience required!

Having an affirming attitude in your communication with yourself and others can also be of great benefit in your everyday life, at home as well as at work!

The course is aimed at 16-99 year olds and lasts two days, no preparation required!

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 29-30, from 10:00 to 16:00.

David Åkerlund and Linda Gustavsson from Unghästen/Västerbottensteatern are the course leaders for this course. David and Linda have several years of experience as educators, actors and improvisers, both in working with children and young people as well as staff development, artistic improvisation and theater on stages around the country.

Prior knowledge

No prior knowledge required.

Location

We are located at Nordanå in Skellefteå, we gather at the main entrance of Västerbottenteatern at 10.

Other

We are outside so wear warm and comfortable clothes suitable for the weather. Bring your own cold lunch, we offer coffee and fruit.
