A searingly topical drama about mothers who have lost their children - and the love that lives forever.
They are the mothers who work in health and community care, home care and childcare. They are mothers who have held their children close to their hearts. And they are mothers who have had to experience the worst thing a mother can experience. Losing a child. Four actresses give voice to these mothers. About the violence that took the most precious thing from them, about the grief, the frustration and the struggle to move on. But most of all, it's about love, the ever-present and everlasting love.
The performance is loosely based on journalist, author and presenter Alexandra Pascalidou's acclaimed book of the same name. The production is directed by award-winning Sunil Munshi, most recently acclaimed with Klaus Nomi at the Royal Swedish Opera, selected for the 2021 Performing Arts Biennale.
Performers on stage include Lo Kauppi, Chatarina Larsson, Maria Salah and Gloria Tapia.
