Susanna Levonen and Jonas Olsson from Norrlandsoperan take us on a musical journey from the steppes of Russia to the fertile pampas of Argentina.
Susanna, who is employed at Norrlandsoperan, has been praised for her strong role portraits and has performed in most opera houses and orchestras in Sweden and also in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Norway and Uruguay. Roles she has portrayed include Carmen, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Marie in Wozzeck, Salome, Sieglinde in Valkyries and Amneris in Aida. Susanna has also toured with chamber music around the world, and her love of tango was rekindled for a tour to Argentina. Susanna is also often engaged as a storyteller.
Jonas Olsson is employed as a repetiteur and orchestral pianist at Norrlandsoperan and is frequently engaged as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist in Sweden and abroad.
