The Dream of a Ridiculous Person

Dostoyevsky's writings in the spirit of Dario Fo.

A man who appears resigned and indifferent experiences in his dream how the world should truly be and function. Now he travels around telling people about his dream. Sometimes it’s crazy and hard to grasp, sometimes simple and clear—he immerses himself in it and wants so badly for everyone to understand.

A classic storytelling performance that playfully shifts between seriousness and comedy. Almost like Dario Fo, or at least inspired by his way of using simple devices to move between dreams, reality, utopia, spirituality, folk comedy, and profound naivety. All spiced with clear influences from both Nils Poppe and Charlie Chaplin.
