A new world emerges from the old. The musical's jazz music is joined by rock and pop. Follow us through everything from Sound and Music and West Side Story to Grease and Chess. Enjoy a lunchtime journey through the history of musicals! In three different Soup Theater programs, we meet the 3rd year students at the Umeå Academy of Music on a guided tour through 100 years of musical theater. Singing, scenes, storytelling and dancing will fill every inch of the soup theater stage. Each musical soup is based on a specific era but also spiced with musical delights from completely different times. See one soup and experience a lot! Or why not see all three soups and be part of the whole journey through the beautiful sounding world of the musical!

During the fall we give TEATERKLUBB PÅ TRAPPSCENEN - evening performances that are about 1h long and with the possibility to order food, drinks
and coffee from Restaurant Paolo's which moves its serving into the stage.
A perfect end to the working day where you don't have to cook dinner and at the same time get a dose of beneficial culture. And if you just want to enjoy the theater with a cup of coffee or without buying anything to eat or drink, that's fine too!
