GUERRILLA

This marks Cullberg’s first collaboration with Brazilian choreographer and dancer Renan Martins. In this immersive dance performance, he teams up with Olof Dreijer, a Swedish DJ, musician, and founder of the electronic pop group The Knife. A sizzling party that blurs the line between dancers and audience.

“I’m very romantic when it comes to dance. I love it; I think it’s important. I believe it will save us from a lot of things.” – Renan Martins

Guerrilla is an immersive dance where heartbeats and movement become one. For there is nothing stronger than life itself—and the warmth and blood that keep time with our collective longing for freedom, connection, and justice. The boundaries between spectators and dancers dissolve to make way for community and togetherness. Here, the dance floor becomes a microcosm of its own, where different voices and movements come together to create a dynamic whole.

The power of collective action and artistic expression as tools for social engagement and change are familiar themes for Renan Martins, and this is also true in *Guerrilla*.
