In a square somewhere sits Sture Charles "Limpan" Lindberg. Like so many others in our society, he has become an outcast. And why is that? A monologue performance with joy, humor, song and abysmal sadness. Simply a small compressed life. A tribute to Allan Edwall 1924-1997
In 1977, the short story Limpan by Allan Edwall was published. Many years later it was dramatized by Martina Montelius. Now Niklas Ejnar has adapted it further.
Limpan is about a homeless, unemployed and drunk man who has lost his footing and fallen between the planks of society. He sits on a park bench and tries to explain, to anyone who happens to overhear, why he ended up there and why he does not deserve to exist. But in the darkness there is also a zest for life, humor and love.
