A wave of magnetic energy with philosophical undertones

Land before timeis an artist-driven duo consisting of Joanna Holewa Chrona and Yared Tilahun Cederlund. With their roots in street dance, their collaboration has developed into a fluid and unique dance practice, deeply inspired by the rhythm and movement of water.

The performanceWaterkindexplores the invisible but powerful connection between two bodies without physical contact. Through improvisation, the duo allows their dance to engage in a subtle dialogue with each other. Each movement is part of a flow reminiscent of the uninterrupted currents and rhythms of water. The result is a dance that combines freestyle and popping in a powerful and distinctive language.Waterkindis an artistic inventory of the invisible bonds that bind us together – both engaging and seductive in its expressiveness and presence.
