About the project
Västerbottensteatern is working in 2025 on a project with the theme "Happiness" where we collect stories from people in Skellefteå about their happiest moments.

Why are we doing this?
We want to take the temperature of our city and find out what makes us, in this place, the happiest. The collection of stories will result in a performance with the working title "Happiness" with premiere at Västerbottensteatern in spring 2026.

How to contribute?
If you would like to contribute a story about happiness, you can contact us at lyckan@vasterbottensteatern.se or call us on 073-023 31 62
You can send your story in text but also ask to be contacted to tell it orally. Same on the phone, record your story or leave a message that you want to be contacted to tell someone.

Your story can then become part of the performance.

Questions to be inspired by;

- What is your definition of happiness? How does it feel?
- What makes you happy?
- What is your happiest moment?
- Can you remember a time when you wanted to stop time?
- Tell us about a moment of happiness that you carry with you like a treasure.
- Where in our city have you felt the most happiness?
- Have you ever experienced happiness that took you by surprise?
