Theater amateurs sought for the performance LYCKAN spring 2026

In 2025, around 50 people have been interviewed about their happiest moments in life. During the rehearsal period, these interviews will be transformed into images, dances, songs and scenes by the theater ensemble.

The show will be a tumbling visual performance where ensemble and amateurs will dance, run, jump, roll, stand and sit and we hope that the performance will resemble life itself.

LYCKAN will be developed through the Viewpoints method, a way of creating scenic material led by director Anne Jonsson.
There are 8 professional actors and dancers in the production.

We are now looking for between 5 - 8 amateurs in two different age categories: 15 - 19 years and from about 60+ and up.
Criteria:
You need to enjoy being on stage and would find it exciting to be part of a movement theater performance.
You may have experience in dance, sports, theater and music but it is not a requirement.
You are self-motivated, alert and able to take your own initiative.
You may play an instrument, be able to sing and/or have experience in dance, sports, gymnastics or parkour.

During the audition on October 6, you will meet our artistic team in singing, performance and choreography.

Rehearsals start: December 8, 2025

Opening and playing period: February 25 to March 21
