Summer Jobs at Västerbottensteatern

This summer, Västerbottensteatern is offering a summer internship—a summer job for young people who are graduating from ninth grade or are in their first year of high school.

Students who are currently in their second year of high school are also welcome to apply and will be offered a spot if space is available.

Are you looking for a summer job that’s creative, rewarding, and full of imagination?
This summer, you’ll have the chance to explore oral storytelling as a performing art and take the stage yourself. Together, we’ll work creatively, from concept to finished story. You’ll learn how a story is structured and, through various storytelling exercises, practice your voice, body language, and stage presence.

No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a desire to share stories! This summer job will give you new experiences, new connections, and skills that will benefit you both in school and in life in general.

Working hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The pay is 75 SEK per hour for those who have completed 9th grade and 80 SEK per hour for those who have completed high school (1st or 2nd year).
