250 years of Jewish life in Sweden - talks and music

In 2025, the 250th anniversary of Jewish life in Sweden will be celebrated in a conversation between actor Reuben Sallmander and Västerbottensteatern's dramaturge Tora von Platen.

Reuben Sallmander received great appreciation for the main role Tevje in the summer theater production of Fiddler on the Roof in Medleforsparken 2024-2025 and now he is back in Skellefteå and Berättarfestivalen with "The True Music Project", a musical collaboration with Tania Naranjo and The True Music Orchestra, where Latin American and Jewish music is mixed with classical music, as well as rock and pop influences.

The True Music Project can be seen in its entirety on Thursday at noon, but already this evening the conversation about Jewish life and culture is interspersed with music and songs in Swedish, English, Spanish and Hebrew as Tania Naranjo and The True Music Orchestra are also on stage.
