A fearless and fast-paced monologue about menopause.
Menopause affects all of us, women and men alike - yet we know very little about this stage of life. What happens when your period ends? Why doesn't your memory or mood work like it used to? Why do we suddenly not sleep? And why don't we know the answers?
In her fast-paced debut play, Anna Hultin straightens out the many question marks of menopause. - "The performance is about everything I wanted to know about menopause, but didn't get answers to," says Anna.
"Is it hot here?" is as much monologue as manifesto, as much popular education as entertainment. Bravely and with humor, Anna shares her personal research into the biology and history of menopause - interspersed with a little Shakespeare and uninvited experts.
The show is written by Anna Hultin, who also plays all the roles. Anna is a permanent actor at Svenska Teatern where she has played the lead in over twenty plays.
The play is directed by André Wickström, who many will recognize from "Parliament" and "Solsidan".

In her fast-paced debut play, Anna Hultin straightens out the many question marks of the menopause - The performance is about everything that I myself wanted to know about the menopause, but didn't get an answer to, says Anna.
