The development of industrialization and the construction of the country's infrastructure were largely carried out by manual labour. Mines, railways, logging, industry and shipping are areas that have often been depicted by photographers, both professionals and amateurs, who have not hesitated to take advantage of the technical difficulties that photography used to present.
