There are moments in life that we can see in retrospect have influenced our life, defined how and why we live the way we do. What job we have, what relationship we live in, what hobby we practice.
Moments that often come up when someone asks "why" and become a "therefore", something that motivates us.
Storytelling 2022 tells the story of some of these moments.
The aim of Berättarkraft and the work with this year's grant recipients is to encourage and develop oral storytelling in Västerbotten. This year, we chose to extend the invitation to everyone employed by Region Västerbotten. After the years of pandemic, we want to highlight and make visible everyone who worked so hard in health and social care. Give them time and space to be listened to, in both personal and professional experiences.
We have focused on life stories, personal experiences and situations as the narrator remembers them.
This year's seven scholarship holders have been helped to develop a story on this year's theme: A Moment.
We believe and hope in the power of story to increase understanding and create empathy.
