Bonnstan past and present

Elisabeth Engberg and others talk about life in the church town, past and present. Ever since the 17th century, Bonnstan has been an important gathering place in Skellefteå. Here there was public life, meeting places and entertainment. In Sweden, there have been more than 70 church towns, but there are only 16 "living" church towns left, including Skellefteå. If the walls of Bonnstan could talk, they would have many stories to tell. We want to share some of them here.

The event is a collaboration between Skellefteå Kyrkstads Kammarägarförening and the Church of Sweden Skellefteå.
