Café Norden Skellefteå - a Nordic talk show with music!

Welcome to an entertaining Nordic talk show led by a Finland-Swedish artist and this time hosted by a star chef, two hockey professionals and an accessibility consultant. All guests have moved to Skellefteå and the overall theme for the evening is "Stories of people who have moved to the north".

As guests in Fredrik Furu's talk show couch, we have this Danish national hockey team's captain Nicoline Søndergaard Jensen, who traded Copenhagen for Västerbotten and is now one of the support players in Skellefteå AIK in the SDHL. We also meet the Icelandic chef and entrepreneur Jon Oskar Arnason, who runs both the restaurant Bryggargatan and the gin distillery Ogin. We also meet Norwegian entrepreneur and lecturer Robert Olsen, who lost his sight in mid-life and now lectures on accessibility in IT. We also meet Finnish Ida Kuoppala, who returned to the Nordic countries after four years of college in the USA and now plays hockey in Skellefteå AIK's first team.

The host Fredrik Furu and his one-man house band Gustaf Lundell will also be playing Nordic music and there will be opportunities to buy refreshments. Admission is free, so first come, first served.

Organizers are Föreningen Norden Skellefteå and Föreningen Norden Västerbotten in collaboration with Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan.
