Outstanding wood sculptor

The farmer and artist Karl-Bertil Stenmark (1912–1989) lived most of his life in Gummark. In the large country kitchen, he spent his evenings and nights carving wooden figures and painting pictures. He went on to carve some 70 groups of figures depicting working life and farm life in northern Sweden, which were exhibited at the Skellefteå Museum. Kalle Boström talks about the artist and the fantastic collection of wooden sculptures at the Skellefteå Museum.
A joint event with SKEFO and Vuxenskolan.
