K.A. Fellström—A Long Life in a Time of Great Upheaval

Kristian August Fellström, pastor of the Skellefteå rural parish between 1923 and 1952, is perhaps best known for his invaluable contributions to the parish’s local history and the history of its people. He left behind more than 10,000 handwritten pages filled with historical accounts concerning the parish where he served. But who was he himself, the chronicler K. A. Fellström? Elisabeth Engberg recounts the life of a pastor in the early 1900s and tells the story of a man who today has been overshadowed by his predecessors, whose life’s work he chronicled in his books.
