The unsolved riddle of Guldstaden - Author visit Berthil Åkerlund

Two young boys, Berra and Benny, make a macabre discovery in a railroad car in Skellefteå in the summer of 1965. They recognize the man dumped among the slaughterhouse remains from the nearby slaughterhouse - he is called the Miner - and they choose not to tell anyone what they have seen for fear of getting into trouble themselves.

Berthil Åkerlund was born in Skellefteå in 1954 and has been a journalist since 1979. He has worked at Norra Västerbotten, Expressen and freelanced for the weekly press.

Berthil made his book debut in 1992 with a book of interviews with famous Swedes. For many years he was a writer in the field of aid work, which resulted in several documentary novels, mainly from Africa.
