A century ago Povel Ramel was born! He entertained his audience on the radio, on the gramophone and on stage with his melodic antics and equilibristic wordplay. We celebrate the anniversary with a musical performance based on Povel's repertoire where melodies, monologues and memoirs guide the audience through periods in his life and career.
So button up and take off your shoes as we keep the music going in this Povel-ProgRamel.
On stage and behind the idea is the actor and Povel-digger Gustav Gälsing, educated at the musical program at the University of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. Gustav has many years of experience on stage in theater, musical and revue and has been awarded Bosse Parnevik's scholarship in 2016. Behind the keys sits Anders Zibbe Holtz and throws himself between Povels many genres. Anders has been a freelance musician, composer and arranger for over 20 years. He has played with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Helen Sjöholm, Håkan Hellström and Janne Schaffer.

During the spring we give TEATERKLUBB PÅ TRAPPSCENEN - evening performances that are about 1h long and with the possibility to order food, drinks
and coffee from Restaurant Paolo's which moves its serving into the stage.
A perfect end to the working day where you don't have to cook dinner and at the same time get a dose of beneficial culture. And if you just want to enjoy the theater with a cup of coffee or without buying anything to eat or drink, that's fine too!
