He may have broken baine

Maj Degerstedt reads in Faroese from the picture book Han kanski ha brutte baine, written by Jörgen Lindström and illustrated by Sara Nilsson. She also talks about the book that she herself is writing in Faroese.

"Now he's going to carry the boat, to pack his stick, his nose, his mask to see if he can get away. He can't even fantasize about where he'll end up."

When Jörgen and his youngest daughter went up the ski lift on a ski slope, they amused themselves by saying to each other "He might have broken legs" in Pitemål about those who fell down the slope. That's where the title of this book came from. As the book had a great impact in Piteå, it has been translated into Skellefteåbonska this year. The book is read by Maj Degerstedt.
