What the hell are we supposed to do? Storytelling lunch with Björn Ferry

Welcome to the mind of Björn Ferry!

When the world's countries signed the Paris Agreement in 2015, it meant limiting global warming to a maximum of two degrees. In Storuman, Björn Ferry and his wife Heidi Andersson had both finished their elite endeavors and were inspired to take on the challenge: "If all the countries in the world could agree to stop using fossil fuels by the middle of the century, shouldn't it be possible for individuals to get there sooner?"

The goal was for the family to become fossil-free by 2025. Since then, the couple have reduced their carbon footprint, changed their lifestyle and even tried to get their entire hometown on the climate-smart path in the SVT series "Storuman forever". Last fall, the book "Hur fan ska vi ha det?" was also published.

Monica Lindgren meets Björn Ferry to discuss what's going on in his head now. Will they reach their goal? What have they learned along the way? And can Björn really be the world's longest Sami?

There will be many answers - but Bjorn's question remains the same: "What the hell are we going to do?"

Björn Ferry is an Olympic champion biathlete, expert commentator, forester and private researcher. Together with his wife, arm wrestler Heidi Andersson, he is pushing for a green transition and the couple decided to go fossil-free by 2025. Read more on Fossil Free
