Women power 2.0

Storytelling evening in the photo exhibition Kvinnokraft 2.0, which wants to highlight some of the female power that exists here in Skelleftebygden today. Meet the women from the pictures where they offer their own stories of courage, curiosity, responsiveness, innovation, passion, stubbornness, commitment, patience and adventurousness.

Background: Photographer Marianne created a photo exhibition (in Photo Noir style) for International Women's Day on March 8 this year, where she photographed women, all living in Skellefteå and the surrounding area, and asked them to write down what three strengths have brought them to where they are today. In connection with the exhibition, an "after work" was organized where some of the women had the opportunity to talk about what was behind their words. That evening, many wondered "when will we hear more stories?

That's when the idea of a program during this year's Storytelling Festival was born, filled with pictures and the women's own stories based on the words they chose to highlight.
