At odds with the times, at odds with society, at odds with popular culture, at odds with prevailing values. Two writers and a musician join forces in a performance featuring poetry, prose, and songs. Their voices are directed at what grates, disturbs, and moves us.
Jens Unosson, writer, poet, self-sufficient farmer, conservationist, and musician in groups such as “The Spacious Mind,” has recently published his second collection of poetry, “De vilda djuren.” He often writes on the themes of criticism of civilization and the animism of nature. He lives on the Utanåkern farm in Hökmark.
Arne Jonasson, from Kallholmen, is a prolific songwriter who has been active in Skellefteå since the late 1970s, now primarily as the YouTube personality “Mittiberget.” His songs, with lyrics in Swedish, deal with everyday and not-so-everyday things taken directly from reality as it is today and as it was 60 years ago.
Jannike Lundgren, editor, conservationist, animal rights activist, and author of two novels, most recently *In Memory of Laika* (2024). Her books explore humanity’s relationship with animals and nature, as well as our place on Earth. She lives in Ersmarksbodarna, north of Skellefteå.
