Renhorn's Diaries

Gustaf Renhorn (1886–1966), an elementary school teacher and city librarian, was a well-known cultural figure in Skellefteå. From 1945 to 1966, he kept a diary chronicling current events, particularly in the city. He followed the cultural debate in society and captured events and people during this eventful period. As a conservative, he did not always view societal developments as positive. Ulf Lundström discusses Skellefteå after World War II, as reflected in Renhorn’s diaries.
