This unique woman's fate was the subject of Åke's first novel "Långa lappflickan - sägnen om Stor-Stina" (1981). It was later revised and published as an anniversary edition in 2011. Now her remains have been found and Åke has written a comprehensive documentary about her fate:"Sápmi's Giantess - The Truth about the Long Lapp Girl".It is richly illustrated and contains a large amount of factual material collected over 48 years.
