SkeLitt, Skellefteå's own literature festival will also take place in 2025 during the Berättarfestivalen. We focus on local authors with links to Skellefteå and Västerbotten. There will be an open stage and book tables, all gathered at the city library. Free entrance
Skellefteå and its surroundings have a long tradition of both written and oral storytelling and many are the authors who have sprung from this mire. We at the city library want to celebrate this with our own literature festival. We will be inviting authors, some from further afield, others more local, but most with some connection to the region. All to show the breadth of literature and the great importance of storytelling for both residents and visitors.
