Traces of the war - Memories preserved in the museum collections

Welcome to a lecture in our local history exhibition Storsia, where archivist Jörgen Andersson highlights two objects from Skellefteå Museum's collections linked to the Second World War. Objects that at first glance may seem mundane, but which bear traces of a dramatic time in our history.

Through these objects, Jörgen tells the story of how the war affected people here - in Västerbotten. History is brought to life through objects preserved from a time of turmoil and change.
