The story of a woman from a roadless land who went her own way instead of getting lost in the footsteps of others.

A music and storytelling program about Mimmi Helamb, headmistress, artist soul and part of the secret resistance movement that fought in northern Sweden during World War II. A dangerous mission that later led to recognition from American intelligence. Mimmi was fearless, innovative and went her own way. She followed her heart and ignored what others thought and felt.

The narrator is actor Harleen Kalkat, who now lives in Arjeplog with her husband and musician Magnus Karlsson. Harleen was last seen as Önis in the critically acclaimed film adaptation of Kerstin Ekman's "Events by Water".
