Stina Wollter

Tributes, hatred, headlines, but above all a versatile and engaging artistry - Stina Wollter leaves no one untouched. On October 17, she will visit the Storytelling Festival in Skellefteå with her own story, a concert and an exhibition at Museum Anna Nordlander.

Stina Wollter is an artist, writer, singer and Instagrammer. She fights for everyone's right to be safe with themselves and fulfill their place on earth. Stina has described the pressures that we humans are exposed to and shown strategies for resistance and survival. Something that led to an entire popular movement, people dancing on social media with a pronounced longing and a demand for protected spaces around every body.

"Images, stories, body tricks and dance..."
Stina participates with her own story that is "full of images, stories, truth, pain, creation, art, body tricks and dance", as she herself describes it. Together with her husband, the musician Micke Olsson Wollter, Stina ends the performance with a mini-concert that ties in with her storytelling.

Stina herself says that she is part of a larger vital storytelling tradition that can contribute to change:
- It is a tradition where the personal story becomes universal. Her own creation can awaken more people to the desire to create, and since creation is a vaccine against powerlessness, it can be the beginning of change in a larger perspective.
