Storsia tells - The railroad and the objects

In Sara Lidman's stories, things also come to life. They are important for the people and for the plot of the books. Together with object antiquarian Jenny Tingvall, we look at some objects from the museum's collections, and examine how similar things are described in the books.

About Storsia stories:
During the storytelling festival, museum staff will be on hand to delve into a special section of Storsia - Skellefteå Museum's local history exhibition. Here you have the chance to hear stories and see pictures from different parts of local history - from past to present. Take the chance to explore the exhibition and learn more stories from history on your own.
