Punishment or candy - storytelling café about sobriety in Västerbotten.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the prohibition referendum in Sweden. If Västerbotten had had its way, there would have been a total ban on alcohol sales and drinking. But that is not what happened.

The temperance movement in the county has remained strong. How has it affected us and our relationship with alcohol?

Staff from Folkrörelsearkivet will show examples from the archives, we will drink coffee and, under the guidance of Marianne Folkedotter, we will listen to each other's stories.

The Storytelling Festival offers coffee and cake.
