True Music Project

The duo Tania Naranjo and Reuben Sallmander, together with The True Music Orchestra, invite us to a meeting of different musical styles.

In True Music Project, Tania Naranjo and Reuben Sallmander create something new and at the same time something highly recognizable. The two meet in a musical collaboration where Latin American and Jewish music mixes with pure classical music, rock and pop influences in a playful dance. Their music contains the shackles and creativity of exclusion, but also longing, love and the unspoken - the mysterious. The lyrics are written in the language that best suits the music. Poetic lyrics in Swedish, English, Spanish and Hebrew play organically with the music and describe the duo's combined life experience of over 100 years.

Tania Naranjo is a concert pianist, singer and composer. Reuben Sallmander is an actor, singer, lyricist and songwriter. Together they perform their songs and musical stories in an endearing and heartfelt way.

Reuben Sallmander also met the audience in Skellefteå as the family father Tevje in the summer theater "Fiddler on the Roof".
