Two Generations: The Stories of Two Strong Women

These are two colorful life stories that have blossomed into separate biographies. Susanne Granberg, 63, of Kroksjö, with her book *Nalta ellest*, and her mother, Görel Lindahl, 94, with her autobiography *Jag skulle bli bonde*.

Susanne takes you on a wild road trip through life, filled with impulsive adventures abroad, a crazy car project, and a love for animals that could push her to her breaking point. There are no filters here—just straight to the point, with an energy that makes you want to jump up and do something crazy.

Görel Lindahl, a pioneer in healthcare in her role as one of Sweden’s first health planners, takes us on a quiet yet deeply moving journey through her life. Her book is a tribute to family, memories, and writing. But it is also an account of a time when Sweden was changing—from a rural Sweden to a modern society—against which her own social mobility is depicted.
