The Revival Legacy

A storytelling performance in words and music about how the revival movement has shaped—and been shaped by—the Skellefteå region from the early 1800s onward. Elisabeth Engberg and Stefan Lindberg, accompanied by musicians, take a few historical
glances at the history of the revival movement and meet farmers, maids, priests, and lay preachers, interspersed with musical interludes. Of course, we’ll also sing the revival songs together.

Free admission. Seating is limited. First come, first served.
Doors open half an hour before the event.

Cast: Musicians: Johan Hellgren, vocals; Stefan Lindberg, flute and zither; Gunnar
Jonsson, violin; Jan-Eric Sundkvist, clarinet; Stefan Normark, pedal organ;
and Robin Jonsson, double bass.

Organizers: The Church of Sweden in Skellefteå and EFS in Västerbotten.
