Based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, what do adults need to do today to ensure that we children have a future, a good future?
During the academic year 2024/2025, students in grades 3 and 4 from Medle School have been selected as this year's Children's Rights Pilots. Based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, they will draw and write letters about their thoughts on the future to those who decide in the world. Their work will result in an exhibition that will be shown in Sara Cultural Center during the Storytelling Festival week. Keep your eyes open!
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) became Swedish law in 2020. It gives all children, regardless of their background, the right to be treated with respect and to be heard. It sets out the rights of all children and we adults have a responsibility to ensure that they are respected.
