WILD

VILD is an honest, humorous and touching musical storytelling performance about sexuality, lust, liberation, shame and anger.

Vild touches on first love, passionate encounters and when the art of blending in has gone too far. About being a mother or not being. About the shame and the pleasure. About the longing for her red bikini and park bench sex in Brazil.

Carla Fri and Susanne Marins draw inspiration from their own lives, about how as children we have a natural connection with nature, our bodies and our emotions. As teenagers we are searching for our identity and as adults we have certain expected roles to play. What all can we be? What stops us from daring to live life to the full?

Susanne and Carla offer self-composed music, recognizable stories and a large dose of humor. It is wild, boisterous, flourishing and forbidden. The performance has an interactive part where you participate to the extent you want, a Viha-huone is promised to some extent.

Susanne Marins and Carla Fri are a Finnish-Swedish acting duo, living in Vaasa, Finland. Their storytelling performance VILD has toured Swedish Finland during 2024-2025 and has received great appreciation from the audience and the press. More info about the show can be found on their website: https://www.susannemarins.com/copy-of-acting

The inspiration for the performance comes from GLÖD - Ostrobothnia Storytelling Center's development project Wild, Wise, Lost, which explored different forms of oral storytelling and audience involvement.

The performance is supported by: Otto Malm's donation fund, Swedish Ostrobothnian Cultural Fund, Swedish Ostrobothnian Society, Eugene, Elisabeth and Birgit Nygren's foundation, Oscar Öflund's foundation and Swedish Theater Association, Konstsamfundet, Martha and Albin Löfgren's cultural fund.
