Accessibility

At Västerbottensteatern we always strive to maintain a high level of accessibility at our performances.

Sara Kulturhus is a cultural center for everyone and the premises are accessible. If you have special needs, please contact us before your visit and we will help you.

Toilets

Accessible toilets are located on all floors in connection with the other toilets. The toilets next to the library also have an accessible toilet with a changing table.
There are also accessible toilets in the stage rooms and dressing rooms.

Folding chair
Available to borrow in connection with the exhibitions.

Wheelchair access
Wheelchair users can access all our stages.

Captioned performances
At the moment we are not able to offer subtitled performances.

Hearing aids
Sara Cultural Center uses the same hearing aid system for all stages. The system is radio-based and not a hearing loop. This means that it can be moved around and used in different places and on different stages.

Our goal is to make our theater accessible to everyone. Would you like more information or to help us become even better? Contact Maria Asserud.

Proximity to bus
Take the bus to the theater! The bus station is close to Sara Kulturhus and a good option to get to your performance if you cannot/will not drive
