Storytelling café Lifsens villages

Come and listen to stories from three villages in the Jorn region and meet the woman who actually wrote the book Lifsens rot.

In 2023 Sara Lidman would have been 100 years old. Ahead of the anniversary year, a preliminary study has been made based on her book Lifsens rot, especially the village poems containing 129 villages and individual places in Lillvattnet parish.

The aim has been to find people with connections in all the places and then select and visit 30 of the places to listen to the stories of the past, present and future dreams.

The goal was and still is to use the stories to highlight the places, nature, people, literature and create meetings. The interim goal is to collect as many stories as possible and to be able to have at least five story cafés during the anniversary year 2023.
