The Kågeträsk diary was written between 1891 and 1901 on the Anten-Ors farm in Storkågeträsk by the sisters Greta and Lovisa Dahlkvist. The diary provides a unique insight into daily life on the farm. The reader also gets to meet the social life in the village. Night parties, marriages, births and deaths are carefully documented in the diary.
Ann-Catrine Edlund, Mid Sweden University & Ulf Lundström, Skellefteå Museum, have participated in the work of publishing the diary. They talk about the diary, the Anten-Ors farm, life in the village and the language in the diary. Marianne Folkedotter reads some of the stories from the diary in Skellefteå dialect.
