We are approaching 2023, Sara Lidman's anniversary year, which will be celebrated around the country. The center is Sara Kulturhus and her home village Missenträsk. There will be a soft start during the Storytelling Festival 2022, in which the Sara Lidman Society has participated since 2012.
During the first year of Sara Kulturhus, the society has organized the series "52 oneliners", readings of Sara texts every Wednesday taken from speeches, letters, diaries, articles, etc. All selected from her personal archive at Umeå University Library (about 25 shelf meters).
The series ends on Wednesday, August 31, but during the storytelling festival, readings will take place on three occasions - and the readers are three fantastic women who are now in leading positions in Sara kulturhus. Their task may not be, like Sara, to "change the world" but to "change Skellefteå" and show possibilities and new ways.
