Movies and music on their own touch people and when you combine the two it becomes a fabulous experience. Our Rock n Roll Music Film Festival wants to create this experience and offers films where we get to see behind the scenes of three different documentaries that all have in common that they are about rock n roll. The festival will be a meeting place for music lovers who are also interested in documentary films. A small exhibition of Stones-related items will be on show in the foyer of the cinema.
The first documentary is about an artist who started playing in a 'girl band'. Back in the day when women weren't expected to play rock'n'roll. How wrong everyone was. The second documentary is about one of the original members of what is now one of the world's biggest and most successful rock groups. The third documentary is about one of Sweden's most iconic bands, where we get an insight into how it started and what happened next.
