To the bottom

A story of personal destinies in the shadow of war, an extraordinary woman and her strength that held a family together.

"Wavy blue and blue behind blue. Great-aunt on land and in the middle of the fjord her island: my childhood paradise. It flashes and glows in the dark sea - vast, invincible - while resistance to the German occupation grows. When the doorbell rang on March 18, 1944, he went to answer it. And did not come back. What can be forgiven?"

Ragnhild A. Mørch is Norwegian and German. In this performance, she combines childhood memories of golden southern summers in Norway with her family's history - a puzzle of stories spanning three generations. Stories that testify to the fact that Norwegian-German history is not just about big lines but about personal destinies. And that it is the individual's choices that then determine the way forward. A tribute to an outstanding woman and her strength that held a family together.

TIL BUNNS combines storytelling, poetry, two languages and cardboard poetry.
